Nitrous Oxide and Conscious Oral Sedation - you can enjoy a relaxing dental visit and receive the treatment you need comfortably. Nitrous Oxide or “laughing gas,” is used as a mild sedative. It relieves anxiety. Oral Conscious Sedation is recommended for patients who suffer from a high level of anxiety with dental treatment. Prior arrangements for this type of sedation is needed before we can schedule your procedure. You will need a responsible adult to accompany you to the appointment.

The results will be sent for evaluation by a physician who specializes in sleep disorders. Dr. Foster then creates impressions and models that are used to produce a custom fitted, comfortable device that you wear at night to keep your airway unobstructed.
